Welcome To Our New Cluster Website

Welcome to the new Cluster website for St. Celestine and St. Raphael. A team consisting of the staff of both Parishes and parishoner volunteers have been working on it for the past few months.

The site's goal is to provide a wide variety of news and information for the parishoners but also provide information to the visiting Catholic or the potential new member of one of our Parishes.

You can reach the site through three web addresses, all three take you to the same site:
www.celestineduboiscluster.com, www.stcelestinechurch.com, and www.straphaeldubois.com

The site is not complete and over the coming weeks and months more information and many more photographs will be added to the site.

Credit and thank you go out to the following individuals who donated their time and effort:
Tony Buechler - Project manager and content manager
Channing Friedman - Graphic design and visual styling
Glenda Prechtel - Content entry
Becky Seng - Content entry
Brian Bruner - Photography

PLEASE report any technical issues you have with the site. We also would like to know if any of it confuses you in how it works so we can try to make improvements. Email them to stcelestine@evdio.org

From the Desk of Father Eugene

April 29 is world day of prayer for vocations.  As we celebrate this day, we are reminded that all of us have a vocation and a calling from God to either single life, married life, or religious life.  The real challenge is to try to figure out what God is asking us to do with our life.  This requires prayer, patience and openness to what God would have us to do with our life.  I also think that it requires support from friends, family and community because this is not something that will be supported outside by the secular world.  One of the vocation programs in our parish that can help young men and women realize their own vocation is our vocation cross program.  This is a program where a family receives a cross and some prayer cards to pray every day as a family for one month.  The prayers are for current priests and religious vocations along with future vocations in these two choices.  If you are interested in taking part in this program, contact Saint Celestine Parish Office.  While the number of women studying and considering single life is still decreasing in our country, the number of seminarians has been on an increase the last few years in the US.

Many of the challenges and the problems that we face as a church can be solved by an increase in vocations to priesthood and religious life.  This area has been very good in having men and women come forth to consider religious life and priesthood.  Let us continue to pray for men and women to come forth to consider priesthood and religious life.

God bless,
Fr. Eugene
